About Dalia Abrams
Dalia Abrams M.A. M.P.H., has taught parenting classes and lead support groups on and off over the last 20 years. She draws on the principles of Haim Ginott (best-selling author of the classic Between Parent and Child and inspiration for Faber and Mazlish’s well known parenting books How to Talk So Kids Will Listen, and Liberated Parents, Liberated Children) and John Gottman (creator of the five-step approach of Emotion Coaching) to help parents nurture independent, responsible, loving children. She also co-parents 4 amazing children (adults now) with her husband Keith.
About Sarah Metzger
Sarah, the Music and Youth Director of Temple Beth-El, has been song-leading at summer camps and synagogues across the country for the better part of a decade. She uses music as a vehicle to help people connect more deeply with prayer and spirituality and looks forward to facilitating a new prayer experience called Shir Chadash for humans of all ages. Sharron practiced mindfulness meditation for over 25 years, started two meditation groups in Birmingham, and has helped create and lead numerous life-cycle services, including baby-namings, coming of age ceremonies, vigils, funerals – even one wedding and one ceremony of gratitude and blessings to end a marriage. A poet, writer, and singer, she loves creating spaces where people can think and feel in new ways.
About Nan Unkenholz
Nan has shared her love of fitness with thousands of people for over 30 years. Nan completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2014. She has been attending workshops regularly at Kripalu in Lenox, Mass, where she receives constant inspiration. Nan has been a certified fitness instructor with ACE, AFFA, and Les Mills International since 1984.
