High Holiday Registration 5785/2024
Get ready for the High Holidays with wonderful programming and our visiting cantor, Rabbi Jonathan Bubis! We are asking everyone to register for services you plan to attend. This is crucial so we can appropriately plan for parking and childcare. Your registration is also important because, in lieu of physical tickets, your registration will be confirmed at the time of check-in. https://www.templebeth-el.net/hhd5785.html
Childcare Childcare will be available on Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Erev Yom Kippur/Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur morning. Childcare is complimentary (thank you to the ‘Arnold and Florie Krell Childcare Fund’ in the Temple Beth El Foundation). Registration is required.
Parking Parking will be available at TBE parking lots, upper and lower. Please reserve the lower TBE parking lot for handicapped parking only. Please do not block the breezeway. As in years past, shuttle service will be available from Independent Presbyterian Church for Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and Yom Kippur. Shuttle service will begin at 8 AM on RH1 and the last shuttle will depart after services/light kiddush at 1:45 PM. On Yom Kippur, shuttle service will begin at 8:00 AM and the last shuttle after services will depart TBE at around 2:00 PM (at recess).

How do I ensure my child can miss school to observe the holidays?
If your child is planning to miss any school days in order to attend holiday services, Rabbi Henkin has prepared a letter to give to the administration of your child's school asking that he/she/they be excused on particular days to celebrate Jewish holidays.
If you would like a copy of the letter, please email him at rabbihenkin@templebeth-el.net and let him know the name of the school and which of the dates you are planning on not sending your child so that they can celebrate the holiday with their community. Rabbi Henkin will fill out and sign the letter which you will be able to pick up at the synagogue.
