Temple Beth-El serves the community of Birmingham, Alabama. As a Conservative, fully egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ), Temple Beth-El is proud to offer a wide range of religious, cultural, social, and educational activities.

We invite you to experience the joy, comfort, warmth and hospitality at Temple Beth-El. Our goal is to provide a spiritual home for Jews of all ages and backgrounds. Temple Beth-El offers vibrant and meaningful worship services including a daily morning and evening minyan.

We are proud to offer opportunities for Jewish learning in a warm supportive setting.

At Temple Beth-El, women and men participate equally in services, and children are always welcome.

Babysitting is offered at Saturday morning Shabbat and holiday services. Shabbat mornings feature Junior Congregation, and special programming for children of all ages.
